Hispanic Coalition for a safer East County
“A new direction in East County will begin with electing Raymond Love to the State Senate in Oregon. He is committed to the ideals we care about in the hispanic community.”

hispanics are at the center of America's future
Hispanics are yearning for the American Dream they so much want to realize. Hispanics are increasingly supporting sound policies that better align with their values and celebrate their innovative spirit, family values and love of democracy.
These policies have allowed Hispanics to advance their education, seek gainful employment, start new businesses, and contribute to the success of our communities in Gresham, Rockwood, Troutdale, and all of East Multnomah County.
According to national websites, Hispanics are vital to the economy, with more than $2 trillion in buying power, and are projected to account for 78% of new U.S. labor force growth over the next decade.
They champion the creation of jobs and new businesses, seek to advance their education, and are inspired by what we can do as a country to guarantee prosperity and upward mobility for all.
Hispanics have also become an important influence in American politics, with an estimated 36.2 million eligible to vote in 2024. Expected to account for one quarter of the U.S. population by 2050, Hispanics are now at the center of the American future.
The rising tide of enthusiasm among the Hispanic community in East County is focused on safe streets first. This is why Chris Gorsek-endorsed Mike Schmidt lost his DA race huge in East County to Vasquez.
Raymond Love shares these same ideals with DA elect Vasquez.
His opponent, Chris Gorsek will back criminal-first policies versus protecting victims and our children from gangs and crime.
